light at the end of the tunnel…

Making stories of grandness,
Forcing myself to cope;
Running through scary darkness,
With rays from torch of hope.

Swallowing foods of fears,
Slipping and standing back right;
Gulping gallons of tears,
Knowing not day or night.

Praying for lord’s harness,
Ignoring tightening-dolour’s rope;
Running through scary darkness,
With rays from torch of hope.

Letting not despair leach in,
Keeping my zeal vernal…
Chanting, “Do not give in.”
Waiting for the end of the tunnel.

They said, “At the end, is a rock-
Let not weakness beguile.
Put in your hardest work,
Will be great and worthwhile.”

There i see, breaking of the dark,
By seeping sparks of hints of light,
Through the cracks of massive rock,
That must be the said last fight!

Pushed hard the blocking rock,
With leftovers of my energy pile.
“Put in your hardest work,
Will be great and worthwhile”

My suffering has finally paid,
Blinding me with tears and light.
“Light at the end of the tunnel,” they said,
Oh my god! They were right!
